Mudhif Camp Services
A camp-services company in Basra gets a bilingual front built around the reed arch of the mudhif, with every claim a reviewer checks set out as a number.

The scenario
In this scenario Mudhif runs 4 camps with 1,850 beds and serves 5,400 meals a day, but answers every vendor-registration request with an old brochure and scanned certificates. Prequalification teams keep asking the same things: food-safety certification, HSE figures, water testing and capacity. The company needed one front that answers them in Arabic and English.

The website
The capability statement, as a reviewer reads it
Each number on the document matches a row in the table.
| # | What the reviewer looks for | Where they find it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Certified food-safety management (ISO 22000, HACCP) | Certificate cards on page 1 of the capability statement and in the HSE & quality section, with standard, year and certificate number. |
| 2 | HSE statistics: LTIFR, TRIR, man-hours | A 2025 statistics grid with the basis of each rate (per 1 million or per 200,000 hours) and the date of the last LTI. |
| 3 | Medical fitness of food handlers | 186/186 food handlers with a valid medical certificate, renewed every 6 months, stated as a figure. |
| 4 | Drinking-water quality control | 1,460 samples tested in 2025 with 0 failures, plus the daily on-site and weekly laboratory regime on the website. |
| 5 | Capacity to mobilise: beds, kitchens, equipment | Each camp with its beds and governorate, the 1,850-bed total, and owned equipment: RO plants, generators, cold storage, vehicles. |
| 6 | Past performance on comparable contracts | A table of 6 contracts with client type, governorate, scope, beds, meals and period; client names and references offered under NDA. |
| 7 | Legal registration and a named contact | Registration, tax and chamber numbers in one block, with the contracts and vendor-registration contact, phone and email beside it. |
Company profile

Identity
The mudhif, the reed guest house of southern Iraq, reduced to its arch: an outer rib, a solid body and a clay-lit doorway. Photographs are framed in the same arch.
Approach
01
Checked the proposed name. «Tayba» is used by a listed Saudi hospitality group with catering and staff housing, so the company became Mudhif, after the reed guest house of southern Iraq.
02
Drew the symbol from the mudhif arch: an outer rib for structure, a solid body for shelter and a clay-coloured doorway for the host who is awake when the crew returns. English and Arabic words sit either side of it at equal weight.
03
Ordered the website like a supplier questionnaire: services, camps and capacity, HSE and quality, past performance, then a vendor-registration block with the PDF and a named contact.
04
Replaced adjectives with figures a reviewer can verify: beds per camp, meals per kitchen, 1,460 water samples, 186 of 186 food handlers with valid medical certificates.
05
Set the capability statement as mirrored rows, English label, value, Arabic label, so both readers read the same line and the numbers appear once.
06
Showed hospitality as routine in the company profile: a 24-hour timeline of one camp, from the 05:00 water check to the 03:00 night meal.
