Mishkat Inspection & NDT
A calm, exact front for an 85-person NDT and inspection company in Kirkuk, built around the records a prequalification reviewer asks for.

The scenario
The scenario: an inspection company founded in Kirkuk in 2011, with 46 certified technicians, ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation and a clean safety record, but no website and a profile made of scanned certificates. Each new vendor registration took days of searching for numbers, dose records and equipment lists. Its reports were exact; the way it presented itself was not.

The identity in use

Scene generated with AI from this concept’s actual designs. The company is fictional.
The website
The capability statement, as a reviewer reads it
Each number on the document matches a row in the table.
| # | What the reviewer looks for | Where they find it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Does the scope of services match the work package, with the governing standards named? | A method table lists UT, PAUT, RT, MT and PT plus five inspection programmes, each with its ASME, API or ISO standard, on the site and on page 1 of the capability statement. |
| 2 | Is the company certified and accredited as an independent inspection body, and are its technicians qualified? | ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 17020 Type A, the radiation licence and ISO 9712 / SNT-TC-1A personnel levels, each with scope and validity. |
| 3 | What is the HSE record and, for a radiography contractor, the radiation dose? | Three years of work hours, LTI, TRIR, near-miss reports and average radiographer dose; the site adds a bar that sets 1.7 mSv against the 20 mSv limit. |
| 4 | Does the company own the equipment and crews to mobilise for this job? | An equipment table with quantities, the calibration interval, 9 crews and a 48-hour mobilisation promise. |
| 5 | Has it done similar work for comparable clients? | Five projects by year, client type, governorate, scope and duration; client names and reference letters offered on request. |
| 6 | Is it legally registered, insured and bankable? | A registration block with legal name, company and Kurdistan Region branch registration, tax ID, insurance limits and bank reference. |
| 7 | Who is the named contact for tenders, and where is the company? | One named person for tenders and vendor registration, with email and phone, next to the download button; head office and two field bases by district. |
Company profile

Identity
A niche that holds a light. Inside it, an ultrasonic trace: the distance between the two echoes is the wall thickness.
Approach
01
Checked the proposed name. Nibras is tied to the Nebras petrochemicals project in Basra and to engineering consultancies in the Gulf, so the concept uses Mishkat, the niche that holds a lamp.
02
Drew the symbol from the trade itself: a niche whose light is an ultrasonic A-scan with two echoes, the reading that gives wall thickness. The Arabic and English wordmarks sit either side of it at equal size.
03
Chose a laboratory palette: Film blue for text and grounds, one Lightbox cyan for echoes and measuring scales only, and a cool Developer white instead of cream.
04
Captioned every photo like an inspection record (method, asset, result) and framed the hero image with a measuring scale, so the site reads like the company's reports.
05
Ordered the home page as a reviewer works: methods and standards, certificates and HSE figures including radiation dose, equipment counts, projects, then one vendor registration block.
06
Wrote the Arabic as its own text, not a translation, and set both languages side by side at equal weight in the capability statement and the profile.
